
Hi, I am Janicel Diaz!
Janicel Diaz is a First-Generation Cuban-American photographer and film director, originally from Miami, Florida, now based in Los Angeles. She is an alumni from Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts with a BFA in Film Production with a speciality in Directing.
With a passion for vibrant, women-centered storytelling, Janicel channels her creativity into celebrating diversity and representation, weaving together colorful environments with the nuances of modern life. Inspired by her love for 2000s films and Disney Channel Originals, her work aims to uplift and empower the next generation of women.
As a versatile creative, Janicel has had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of clients, including Nordstrom, Isabela Grutman’s personal brand, her jewelry and clothing company Rangel*, Saya Marketing Agency, Socialista Queen, Vush Wellness, Poppi, and Nuun Hydration. Each project is approached with a unique perspective, ensuring that the imagery she creates not only captures the essence of the client, but also conveys authenticity and strength.
